Are Computers Magic?

I do not think that computers are magic. They contain a main processing chips that make up the central processing unit (CPU). these chips are inside the motherboard which is located in the hardware of the computer. The chips control everything not magic.
Computer's do what they do because first you provide an input . Then the system software tells the CPU to start up certain programs and to turn on some hardware devices so that they are ready for more input from you. This is called booting up. Then the computer processes the information you have provided and finally, you get an output which can be pictures, texts, etc.

On a daily basis, how many embeded devices do you rely on?

Embedded devices use buttons, LEDs, graphic or character LCDs. You put in an input, then it processes and you finally you get your output.  On a dialy basis, I rely and use a microwave, alarmclock, IPOD, Televison, computers, electronic doors, airconditioner, printer, fax machine, etc. All these things are embeded devices that I use everyday.

What is a Computer?

In my opinion, a computer is a type of robot. I belive this because a computer does exactly what you tell it to do, just like if you were to tell a robot what to do. Like a robot, it makes mistakes because it doesn't understand everythinh you tell it to do. A computer is an electronic device that takes instructions and preforms them as was told [sometimes with mistakes]. They receives orders, store and control data, and store data. They are found in almost every American's house nowadays; they have become essential in our daily lives and it would be very difficult to live without them.

Computer Games Review

Hi my name is Silva and I am writing this blog for my Computer Science class. Yesterday we reviewed a bunch of games created by previous students using the program 'Scratch'. There was 8 games that I played. Out of all the 8 games, i enjoyed playing the 'Metal Game' and 'A-maze-ing' the most.
The 'Metal Game' was really fun to play.  You controlled a little which would travel through different obstacles in order to reach the Finish Line.  It was a little tricky at first but then i got the hang of it and ended up controlling the ball to the finish line. This game waas very well organized and created. It ddin't have any mistakes in it and i could tell that the person put a lot of thougth and effort into making it.
'A-maze-ing' was also a great game. It had 3 levels where i had to direct a happy faace through a maze. The maze contained a moving ball and if you touched the ball you would die. As the levels increased, so did the amount of dangerous balls. This game was very fun. I didn't want to stop playing until i won. It didn't have any mistakes and it was very well organized and created.
As for the rest of the 6 games, i did not enjoy playing them because they were either too easy or weren't completely finished or i didn't understand how to play.
